Information for authors
If you want to participate in SIEN 2021 with a presentation, you must first create an account by registering in the Authors section on the home page. In the account created, you will be able to upload the abstract and the full paper.
The fee for presenting a paper in SIEN 2021 conference is of 50 Euro + VAT, to be paid after the notification about paper acceptance.
For paper acceptance, the authors will submit an extended abstract describing the paper content in up to 600 words.
All contributions must be submitted in Word format.
Format for the extended abstract will follow similar instructions as for paper format (see below).
Notified authors will have to submit the full Power Point presentation by 30.10.2021 in their personal account on the website. Power Point presentation must not exceed the allocated 10 minute time slot allocated for each speaker.

Presentation of registered papers
During the event, the Power Point presentations will be loaded from the system. Participants don’t need to share their screens. The allocated time slot is of 10 minutes. Questions may be taken at the end of the presentation. Speakers are asked to turn on their cameras so that the participants might see their faces. Tests will be carried out prior to the conference both for audio and video compliance.
Simultaneous translation will be provided during the event. Authors may submit their abstracts and full presentations either in Romanian or English. During the presentation, authors are required to speak loudly and clearly into the microphone for an adequate translation.
